Set of 4 Garden Chairs Mid Century Modernist French Chic Wrought Iron 1970s MCM

A very attractive and effortlessly chic set of four Mid Century French wrought iron garden chairs in wonderful, refinished condition. Likely made in the 1970s or 1980s in France, these delightfully decorative and surprisingly comfortable chairs will add sophistication and graceful Gallic charm to any outdoor setting. 
 
Beautifully crafted from wrought iron, this gorgeous set features strikingly attractive tall backs with lovely geometric ironwork detail topped by grand ball finials. Set on impressive and extremely attractive double-arc curule or Savonarola style legs and, unlike many wrought iron garden chairs, the eye-catching cross-strap seats on these make them extremely comfortable!
 
These wonderfully charming chairs have been given a facelift and refinished in a lovely off-white-ivory durable matte paint powder-coating. Relaxed, refined and ready to impress in any outdoor setting – just add the refreshment and good conversation! 
 
CONDITION
These gorgeous chairs are in excellent vintage condition. Structurally sound, they’re solid, sturdy and comfortable. Unlike most similar vintage chairs, which show unattractive signs of age and weathering, ours have been professionally refinished. This was done by shot-blasting to remove the old paint and rust and then refinishing in extremely durable powder-coating. Overall they’re a fabulous set of outdoor chairs in wonderful refinished condition and if well looked after, they should remain so for many more generations to come – please see the photos.
