Roche Bobois Coffee Table Luxury Designer Statement Marble Glass Neoclassical
A gorgeous, rare and very impressive glass, marble and wrought iron designer coffee table in lovely condition. Made by luxury French design house Roche Bobois in the 1980s, this striking neoclassical piece will add wonderful quality and a fabulous aesthetic of refined grandeur to any interior.
This superb statement table features a large square bevelled glass top set on a rectangular wrought iron base with four marble finials supporting the top.
The intricate use of curves, right angles and twists of the patinated gun-metal-grey wrought iron base is juxtaposed beautifully with the spherical creamy marble finials, while the large glass top allows appreciation of the super neoclassical design and craftsmanship in all its stunning detail.
All in all this is a strikingly attractive and very impressive statement coffee table, which won’t fail to make a luxurious impact in any setting.
CONDITION
This is in very good condition. Solid, sturdy and reassuringly heavy, the only very minor signs to show its age are a few of the lightest hairline scratches to the glass, which can only really be seen close-up and at certain angles where the light catches them. The base is set on plastic feet for ease of moving and the glass sits perfectly on the marble finials, and we have added small silicone bumper pads to protect the glass. Overall it's a fabulous, hugely impressive and very rare luxury designer coffee table in really lovely condition and if well looked after it should be just as stunning for many generations to come – please see the photos.
