Coat Stand 1960s Mirror MCM Mid Century Teak Blue Red Mad Men Hallway Coat Rack

A fabulously stylish and very rare Mid Century coat & hat stand in lovely condition. Most likely made in Britain in the early 1960s, this beautifully chic piece will add knockout colouring and sophisticated ‘Mad Men’ Mid Century styling to any interior. 
 
Compactly sized, it would make a grand impression in even the smallest of hallways. An extremely practical piece, it features teak wood bordering, a central mirror, two metal double coats hooks, an overhead teak slatted hat shelf and an umbrella/stick holder with original drip tray. 
 
Beautifully designed, the Mid Century colouring really sets this apart. It has a dusky blue star-buttoned upholstery front with a standout bright red trio of central features – a melamine topped teak shelf and the umbrella tray and holder.
 
Exceedingly charming, this rare stunner would enhance any interior and it has a fixing to the back so it can be secured to a wall if needed.
 
CONDITION
This is in good condition. Structurally sound, the mirror is in great condition with only the smallest of imperfections. The only minor flaws are to the lower section of the piece - some scratching to the upholstery and some damage to the umbrella tray, but overall it’s a very rare and attractive piece in lovely condition and if well looked after it should look just as good in another 50+ years – please see the photos.
